This role will predominantly be based around Surrey but the incumbent will be required to travel across the South of England On offer is a permanent full-time role paying up to £40,000 per year + pension working during 8am to 5pm (Mon-Fri) with one hour for lunch and paid overtime - out of hours working, weekends and bank holidays. We also supply a company van, mobile phone, full uniform and specialist tools The role is to provide a variety of general maintenance and reactive services and corrective works on buildings, plant and site Perform testing and inspecting of mechanical systems in accordance with industry standards Ensure that all plant and systems are maintained and operated in order to provide maximum efficiency, availability and reliability carry out remedial and/or refurbishment works arising from breakdown or maintenance inspections implement all mechanical maintenance and corrective works on the site in accordance with maintenance Instructions carry out minor new works installations and testing. Skills and experience Qualified and experienced (5+ years post-qualified) and have excellent communication skills. Full current driving licence with no more than 3 points.
The successful candidate should ideally possess the following qualifications
City & Guilds Level 2 (level 3 preferred) or other vocational qualification in HVAC
F-gas qualification
Experience as a mobile air conditioning engineer
Experience of VRVs, VRFs, splits, multi-splits, water chillers, etc.
-Able to fit/service a variety of components to systems such as compressors, condensers, evaporators, motors, valves, pumps, thermostats, probes/sensors, controllers, timers, etc.
Experience in both installation and maintenance of all types of air conditioning systems (chiller experience will also be advantageous)
Able to work individually or with a team
Excellent communication verbal and written
IPAF and PASMA qualifications desirable
Candidates who have non-a/c qualifications or experience such as plumbing and electrical in addition will be preferred.
